Beach Minis! Ileana's Beach Maternity Session - Galveston, TX

This crazy weather in Texas has really messed up a few of my sessions this year. I needed to get out and do some sessions before I lost my mind lol! Something about being a creative that makes you get this anxious feeling of wanting to express yourself and if you don't, it's like your body is trapped and you MUST create something. Is that just me? lol! Surely I can't be the only one! hehe.. Well, this is the reason why I created this Beach Event in Galveston, Tx. I wanted to create. I even went to a totally different location in Galveston because I wanted to go with the flow and just create on my toes if you will. Ileana was my maternity session of the day. She even added a gown from our client wardrobe. This made me so happy! I love when my clients take advantage of great deals. The wind was perfection that day. We could see a storm brewing but, I was not going to let that stop us from creating these portraits. Plus, I absolutely love me some overcast days. I photographed Ileana before and it was so awesome to see her again. The first time I met her she was a model for some of my gowns. She was expecting her first child at the time. She made my day when she booked yet again this second time around. As mentioned before, her session was perfect! I love movement and the wind always provides that for me. In a way, the wind is my best assistant during my sessions. The hair flows and the gown she chose did some awesome things too. Here are two of the portraits done of Ileana a while back, and now.
