Gage and Rebeka contacted me a year prier asking about wedding packages etc. Soon after, Inez Lara (my wedding photography partner) and I were meeting with the newly engaged couple. After talking and going through their "ideas" I knew we were a perfect match. Rebeka was very organized and had her style and ideas ready for us. When she said "The Notebook Inspired" I almost jumped and hugged her lol! Already my brain was going crazy with ideas and was too thrilled to make those images come to life. While Rebeka didn't necessarily want to do exact replicas, we wanted to keep The Notebook in mind.
The day of the session, finally came! I took one look at her outfits and my skin wanted to jump out of my body with excitement but, like the professional that I am.. I had to keep myself together! Ha!!
We started our session journey walking the streets around The Strand, Gage and Rebeka were amazing! There was so many people watching us and standing around waiting to see what we will do next but they went along with whatever I asked them to do or whatever Inez asked. The strand is the perfect location for a rustic, vintage look. I remember the few days leading to the session, the forecast predicted rain and there was a few closures on the main highway to The Strand. We went there anyways and we were all so glad we did. The day turned out to be perfect! After the strand we went straight to the beach. I mean really... that bathing suit was to die for!! Gage was awesome the whole time, making these images come to life! It's no wonder they are such a great couple, their connection is dynamic making each shot a perfect one.
I was in photography heaven that day. At the end, the sunset was just plain beautiful! I wanted to fly home and begin editing. :)
Enjoy our Notebook inspired Engagement session. To Rebeka and Gage, thanks for being awesome and I wish you a lifetime of happiness. NOW, we wait for the wedding day! Woohooo!
