Talk about a fun session! MaKenna did an amazing job picking out all her outfits and the look for her session! It's weird but once I see the outfits and get a little feel of my client's personality, I immediately know in which direction I want the session to go. With MaKenna, I had one word in mind... Free Spirit! 

• Q: What is your Favorite artist or band?
• A: My favorite band would definitely have to be Iration, G-Easy or Justin Bieber. I love reggae, but am also in-love with  G-Easy and JB
• Q: Who do you look up to and why?
• A: I look up to my Mom. She is my biggest role model because she is the nicest person but also very strong and independent. 
• Q: What is your favorite thing to do when you are not in school?
• A: My favorite thing to do when I am not at school or work is to shop. During my break at work, you can find me shopping, and in-between classes I am most likely on my phone online shopping. 
• Q: Where do you love to shop?
• A: Favorite place to shop is Free People
• Q: Where do you see yourself at the age of 25? 
• A: At 25, I see myself graduated from college and living on a random beach in Hawaii teaching yoga. Or married to Justin Bieber. Who knows? 

A LETTER FROM MOM TO MaKENNA

MaKenna-

We are so proud of you and everything you have accomplished. I feel like I blinked my eyes and you went from a bossy little 3-year old in Montessori school to an 18-year old, college bound senior! These years have flown by and as excited as I am for what your future holds, I would do anything to have some of those years back. I recently heard a story about when a mother eagle is expecting her young and it reminded me so much of the last 18 years- The mother eagle prepares a large nest high on the edge of a cliff, made out of branches and sharp thorns, but coverred with layersof soft feathers. The babies are born and begin to grow in their comfy-cozy nest. Eventually, the mother eagle begins to remove the feathers, one by one, until the nest is not so cozy. She knows that if she does not force her little one out of its comfort zone, it will never take a leap of faith and will never know what it means to soar.  The little eagle gets so uncomfortable in the nest that she climbs to the edge and looks at the huge world down below. Even though she is scared to step out, she takes the leap of faith and learns to fly. For the first time in her life, the little eagle knows what it means to soar and from that moment on, there was no holding her back. I know that God has great plans for you and you were meant to soar. He has blessed you with incredible talents and gifts, and I know that you are destined to accomplish great things in your life.
